Mangroves

As subjects for art, mangroves are uniquely beautiful for their viney, gnarly and interconnected nature. They evoke a mysterious space for the viewer to enter. Light emanates through the shadowy canopy of leaves and branches, and reflects off the brackish water the mangrove roots stride across. This artwork is a visual prayer for the continued safety and ability of the mangroves to thrive as a protective life force.
