This aluminum etching depicts the prickly, spiky beauty of palmettos, common and emblematic of Florida.
Entirely hand-crafted using non-toxic Akua intaglio ink, this unique artwork was created in 2022 and was created in series. Because it is inked with colors and wipes special to this print, it varies from other prints made with these aluminum etching plates. Therefore it is considered part of a variable edition. This artwork was made on acid-free Rives BFK paper, with 1 1/2″ margins surrounding the image. Image size is 12″ x 12″ (paper size 15″x15″). The edition/date/signature written in pencil by the artist along the bottom margin.
If mounted to wooden panel, paper margins will be removed and edition/date/signature will appear on the back of the panel.
